I always planted annuals on the corner of the yard. Some of the neighbors called me the flower lady.
This was our family room. You will see bunnies here and there. I took these picture during Easter time.
Here is a close up of the curtains. I'm gathering more ideas for window treatments and will post them this week.
This house had huge ceilings.
I miss having a fireplace. Especially during Christmas.
Since some of you are sharing Christmas in July. I'll show you our Christmas decor in the old house.
I loved this idea of hanging beaded garland from candle holders.
This wall color looks orange-ish but it's actually red in real life. ;-)
I also like stuffing stockings with garland and elves. Santa usually replaces this junk with presents.
Enough of Christmas, on with the tour.
I never put up blinds in these two huge windows. I just wanted to see outside all the time.
We replaced most of the light fixtures in this house as well.
This was my sons room. I shared pictures of this room in an earlier post. We told the new home owners that if they decided to paint over this mural, please don't tell us. My dad and 3 brothers painted this room.
Well that's all for former houses. I hope I didn't bore you too much. I like having these old pictures around so my kids can remember where we lived.

Wow Brandee, what a great post. You have been in some great houses and decorated them so well. Boy the ceiling is so HIGH! Wow, you must have really been creative to decorate those walls. I love seeing what people do on their walls, I also loved the bunnies that I saw!

Your house was beautiful! I wish I had our first house on a digital cameral. I miss it! :)
Hi Brandee :)
Your house was beautiful!
I'm glad you had an okay time in Vegas, but no, it's NOT for kids LOL

what a lovely home. Your old house reminds me of mine with the huge celings and large rooms! I will miss it, but moving on to bigger better things...but smaller celings! Its killing my electric bill! hehe
Brandee, your old house was just as lovely as your new one! I am glad I am not the only one that keeps pictures of their old homes.
Thanks for stopping by...

Beautiful home! And that mural is amazing! Any murals planned for your current home? :)
Love the cups you found on Walmart.com. It seems I wash 20 cups a day, with just 2 kids in the house! I though about monogrammed cups for them. I always know which one is mine, cause it usually has lipstick smudges on it! LOL! I'll certainly be getting some cups like yours!
Hugs, Rhonda
Nice job on the beautiful home and decor. I enjoyed the tour!

That's a really good idea to document your former homes...isn't blogging wonderful?
I love your son's room, how special was that :) :)
Well, just found you today, and am enjoying your blog.
Take care,
Bella
Now, I am confused, why did you leave? That is a great house, with lots of great memories.
Blessings~~
Thanks for the tour! I love a good house tour. In fact, I'm planning a house-tour blog party soon that this would be perfect for. (Details coming soon!)
I always wish I had more interior photos of the homes I lived in as a child. I have none of any of my bedrooms, for example. So I always try to take pictures of everything, like when the kids switched from cribs to "big beds," etc. Sounds like you had the same thought. -Julia :-)
Great Christmas mantle. I loved the mural in your son's room.
