The only nice thing on the trip was our hotel. We stayed at The Meridian which was a condo convert.
It cost the same as the big hotels but you get a kitchen stocked with everything you need. Except the food of course.
Look at this cute little spice rack. I wonder if my friend Ceekay could find me one of these? Can you believe they had spices?
The table is set for dinner.
All of us fit on this couch. And don't ya just love the pillows.
If I didn't have 3 dogs and a cat, I would try to duplicate this bedding. We had two rooms and two bathrooms.
Also a flat screen in every room.
Although we got to see the M&M store and a couple of fun hotels, I wouldn't take my kids back. Too much naughty stuff all over the place. In fact the boys had to shut their eyes most of the trip.
If you get a chance, go over to Laughter by Lakeside. She has pictures of her house during Christmas. It is so beautiful! I'm excited for Christmas now.

Ha, what a cute post, and what two cuties you have there! Looks like a great place to stay. Hope it wasn't too hot either. Nice to meet you!
Hugs,

I've not been to Vegas in years! I wouldn't have thought it was that bad since they want everyone to think it's a family vacation spot but apparently they are not clear on the definition of a family vacation spot! Atleast you had a great place to stay, that bedding definitely looks comfy, like you could just sink down in it and have your own little cocoon of lush comfort!
Just stopping by to say thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. Your blog is beautiful and I can't wait to read more of your posts!
Oh, and your two boys are cuties!

Ohhh, those are cuties. That is a very nice hotel. My brother in law just came back from a big outdoor show or convention or something that was in Vegas, last week. He said it was hot!
Blessings~~
Yes it was so very very hot. I think at one time they were trying to make it a family friendly vacation area but then decided to go in a different direction. Even the pirate show at Treasure Island was naughty. Very disappointing.
Hi Brandee, just popping in to say HI!!! We haven't been to Vegas in many years. I know now not to take Lexi if we were to go. The hotel looks lovely and your boys are so cute!!
I think I would have a hard time making my son close his eyes.. He's almost 18...ugh!... Glad yall had fun!Susie h~
Hey, Brandee, it has been awhile since I've been by! I have never been to Vegas & don't really want to go, but I suppose it could be a fun place to visit. That condo looked nice.
I scrolled back to see what you've been up to & saw some fun pics. Love the iron things and the birds. I have a white iron bird just like yours that I got in FL. Your doggies look precious. I miss mine!

I had to smile at the "face" on your son to the left...what on earth was he drinking?! LOL...
I want to go to Las Vegas to badly...I bet I'd be giggling a lot too :)
(and what a nice play ya'll stayed!)
SIGH....that should be "place" not "play"...obviously, I'm havin' big problems with my spelling this evening...
Shiela,
The kid on the left always looks like he's up to NO good. ;-)

Hi Brandee
Thanks for visiting me tonight. I hope you'll come again...you're always welcome. I've enjoyed my visit here too. Your boys are precious. We used to enjoy visiting Vegas, but the cigarette smoke is just too much. We live in a smoke free state. thank goodness, so being around smoke kills me!
Hugs!

Lovin' the pics of the boys. I can only imagine how hard it was to cover their eyes the entire trip. I've never been to Vegas. It's not a city that is tops on my list. Thanks for the heads-up.
Brandee, you are such a wonderful cheeleader! I hit your site everything I sit down to the computer to see what you've posted. You are so witty and I love all of your pictures. If only...you lived a couple of thousand miles closer. HO HUM!
Thanks again for the shout out. I appreciate more than you know.

Thats funny! I never thought about kids going there. I've never been either though so I wouldn't know. :) I think I've seen those spice racks at Bed Bath and Beyond.
So the boys got an "education???" LOL! The room looks really nice!
I know we are "new blogger friends", but I enjoy reading your blog...come over for a few awards! :)

I LOVE Vegas. In fact we are going there for our 35th anniversary! And boy, you better believe I will try to find one of those spice racks....you are too funny!
We were thinking about taking the kids to Vegas this fall along with my mother in law. Hubby and I love Vegas and go once a year, but now I don't know about taking the kids. We were looking into some condos with pools off the strip and wanted to take them to the Hoover Dam, maybe do a dune buggy tour through Red Rock or helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, maybe a show, but I get what you're saying. All the card flippers, larger than life stripper ads on busses, etc. I don't know. Maybe in a few years when we can explain a little better.
