Bonita's Box...

Kelli at There's No Place Like Home is hosting Show & Tell Friday.

I'm so excited to show my newest project. This is my new storage bench in my laundry room. Isn't it nice?

It's not just any bench, it has a hole in it. So it's a holy bench.

I used the jigsaw (well my dad did) and drilled a hole right through the door. I also added weather stripping around the hole to finish it off. It's for my kitty, Bonita

Isn't she pretty?

I also have a dog...Rusty aka Rustolium.

He likes to eat kitty poo.

So that's why we came up with Bonita's box.

The bench is also great for folding laundry.

And it makes a great time out spot...

Thanks for visiting my show & tell today!

This is a funny post! A "holy bench" ---that made me chuckle. And the time out photo was awesome! Great show-and-tell!

What fun! The bench is multipurpose for all...

Wow....now I'll say, Bonita is one luck cat. I would've said that she is one lucky 'dog' but that didn't seem appropriate. And we had a dog a long time ago that sat and waited at the cat box for his 'snicker treat'. So, I know what you mean.

LOVE this whole idea!

Happy Show n tell day.

What a great idea!!! Bonita is beautiful and a lucky kitty to have a private potty room...lol

That is too funny as a time out bench too....

Our dogs have always wanted kitty poo (YUCKY) so we have always kept a baby gate up across our laundry room.

Bonita's Box is the greatest idea! And it certainly comes in handy for those little moments of misbehavior.

Fabulous idea.

How genius! Love it! I don't have any animals but if I did, I know what I would do! So creative. The pic of your dog and son are hilarious!

If I had a cat I would have this box...and it's convenient to hold a can of air freshner straight in the hole and let loose!

Wow that is a great idea. I don't have animals, but I'm sure keeping their things and especially the kitty litter box in there is much easier. Nice job and pretty ingenious actually.

Great post and love that idea for kitty litter, wish I had something like that when we had our cat. I hate cat poo and can't imagine why your pup likes it...yuck!

Love the pics of your animals and son, too cute.

Love, love, LOVE this bench. So, where did you find it? I think it's the best thing ever. Well, not ever, but pretty darn good. :)

So, is Bonita smart enough to know that this is her new potty spot?? Really, a great idea.

Poor boy in time out. That sight is all too common in my home.

Love your great idea!--I love dogs,(and kitties too!), but they do have some nasty habits if you don't watch them.
Blessings to You!

I like this idea. I have seen similar ones for sale on line and had thought I'd like to have one. However, I bought one of those covered litter boxes and Smokey would not go inside it. He might have eventually but how would that work if I had to have one outdide of it, too. I hope Bonita uses hers. Maybe I'll try again when I move.

What a great idea. Our border collie Chase loves to eat poo too -that's why we trained our cat to to potty outside.

What a GREAT idea. We have two cats and a poo eating dog too!! I have been trying to figure out what to do. We have our litter box in the laundry room and I was thinking of putting a mouse (cat) hole in the door so the dog couldn't get in. WHY OH WHY do dogs want to eat the poo? Then my dog THROWS UP all over. How long did it take you to get the cat to go in there? What do you do for the odor?
