Oh My....

I'm totally blown away by the friendships that I've made through blogging. What a great network/support group to have in our everyday lives.

Yesterday I received a gift from Cheri of Gamma's Gab. In the box was peppermint cocoa and a mug. You probably remember in my last post I said peppermint cocoa makes me happy. Thank you Cheri for such a sweet gift!

I've never told Cheri how I found her in blog land. I was checking my google analytics and found her blog as a referral site. I didn't recognize her blog name so I looked it up. I was so excited that she had listed my blog under her favorite blogs. So I commented on one of her posts (I'm sure she was wondering how I found her) and then she commented back. And so, the friendship begins.

Some of you have asked what the heck have I been up to since I haven't posted in awhile. Remember that babyshower I promised to host? Well, I'm officially running around like a headless chicken. I promise I'll be back after it's over. I can't wait to show you the diaper cake that I made. I turned out adorable.

Brandee :-)

Hi Brandee:
I thought you might be busy as it's getting close to the date of the baby shower. Missed your blogs.
I agree with you on making friends through blogging...I'm fairly new at this and have gotten so addicted to it already, and feel like I am getting to know all the gals out there in blogland.
What a neat gift you got. I saw the peppermint cocoa today and almost bought some, but didn't know if I would like it or not. Now I think I'll have to try it.
Cute mug, too.

Nice gifts, lucky you :-)

Yes, the thing about blogging I really love is discovering new people, learning more about them and establishing new relationships. I think it's awesome.

Thanks for mentioning me on your post, you are very sweet and I am trying to think where I actually discovered your post....hmmm. I'll have to think on that one. Usually when I read other posts and I look at the blogs that are their favorites and a name really catches my eye, I check them out. Who wouldn't want to check out The Berry Patch.

Wondering where you were, you went MIA on us for awhile. Well when the shower is over (we need pics) then you can sit and enjoy the cocoa.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Cheri

Oh, I got the mug and cocoa at World Market.

would it help if I sent you an extra head? Or would an extra set of arms and legs be better? You are amazing... =)

Hi Brandee,

I don't mind at all if you post about Mr. Scarecrow. I am just so thrilled that you liked it. I took pictures of him too and was trying to decide if I was going to post about it. If you know a specific day you will be posting I could post my pictures too and say it went to live "here" and link to you. If you want to let me know, otherwise if you don't I will just see your post. I always set mine up to automatic post now so just let me know.

s'ok that you don't get it...I knew there would be a bunch who wouldn't...heck even people who saw the movie don't get it lol. He was the star of Napolean Dynamite....a really dorky movie made on zero budget...that ended up being a cult classic and making gazillions of dollars. It is a totally dumb movie...that is only funny to some people....my mom and hubby think it's the stupidest thing they ever saw...me and my son LAUGH just thinking about it!

Ok Brandee,

I am a fan of your site!!! How did I stumble across it? I am new to blogging, and so my maiden name is Berry - I thought - "How would that be if I had my maiden name - of course my blog would be the Berry Patch!!!!" My married name is Henry - not nearly as cute!!! Oh well, my husband is too awesome to disagree with the name! So, as it goes, I had to look up who would have had a great idea like mine, therefore I started to search, and low and behold....my favorite name and blog popped up!!! Decorating - oh my gosh - this is my newest favorite blog friend! I love decorating and loved your ideas....I was hooked - I read and read and read.....my daughter was late for dance as I kept reading - I absolutely loved your ideas, thoughts, animals, - you are my new best friend and didn't even have a clue! I can relate to what you say, and I too am addicted to "The Parade of Homes" which is what we have here in Utah. Model homes to get tons of decorating ideas. We came from Arizona...Tucson, Gilbert and Mesa! You are a cutie and I would love to have you for my neighbor - but I will have to settle with your blog - which is quite entertaining - as I laugh at your humor. Thanks for everything - you didn't even know you have given me. I am glad someone like you has my favorite blog name - The "Berry" Patch, my maiden name and what I thought was the perfect name for a blog!
Thanks so much! I am so glad I searched. I am still working on my blog: henrychatter.blogspot.com TAKE CARE! You are a great blogger which everyone would love to read, and we seem to have so much in common.
Maurine Henry
