Favorite Projects 2008...

I thought I would share a few of my favorite projects over the past year. Most of these projects were ideas that I took from your blogs. How awesome to share ideas with others out there in the world.

Here is our front entryway that I painted. I should have done this project earlier but I procrastinated like usual...worried that it wouldn't look right. Well, I should know by now it's only paint. (note to self)

Before:

After:

**********************************************************************************************************

This diaper cake was the CUTEST project. Don't you agree? Go here to get directions.

***********************************************************************************************************

I organized a ton over the past year. One area that was bugging me to death was the TV area in the playroom. (Gosh I hate those wires!)

Before:

After:

After, after:

************************************************************************************************************

Remember when I bought my new blogging/work desk? I was skipping out to my car.

Before:

After:

*************************************************************************************************************

This was another area in the kitchen that kept bugging me. More wires!

Before:

After:

**************************************************************************************************************

Remember when I went on a red paint rampage?

Before:

After:

Before:

After:

***************************************************************************************************************

These turkey cookies from Thinkin' of Home were a hit at Thanksgiving dinner.

****************************************************************************************************************

This last project would win project of the year award...if I had such an award. It was the most needed project.

Remember I have a dog that eats kitt
y poo?

Before.

After:

I drilled a hole big enough for kitty but small enough to keep Rustolium out.(Darn dog)

This box works double duty as a time out spot...

Well, I feel as though I accomplished a lot over the year, thanks to blogging. I'm excited for the new year and new projects. Please keep them coming and Happy New Year!

So cute...tell that poor precious little boy to come over to Grandma Ceekay....I hate when they get time out....!! Good ole hug, telling they are sorry aren't they? and a cookie and life is good! That is what is wonderful about being a Grandma!
Happy New Year!

Geez, if I could only do half of your list, I'd feel so proud of myself. I'm wanting to paint my walls, I'm sick of white, but I don't know where to start, on choosing a color. LOL

Hugs,
Chris

Good Morning Miz Brandee,
Wow did you get a lot done this year! I love me some organizing and it's always inspiring to see how others organize their spaces. And I especially love the bench with the hole drilled in it for kitty! I am not happy with our current kitty box arrangement and it's got me stumped for sure! Your hidden kitty box is pure genius, what a clever clever girl you are!

What a year it has been! I have been so blessed to have so many sweet friends like you. That puppy eating cat poop is just so funny. I am still laughing about that. Madison wants a cat soooo bad. We cant keep it inside because of Kaylee. Her eyeballs about pop out when she is around a cat. Here is to another year and many great ideas~ Take care!!

Sooo, it's a toss up for me. My favorite of your blogging projects this year, was either the entryway or the wire reductions (similar to noise and weight reduction). The area replaced with a laptop is amazing. I'm ready for everything to be wireless! And I am soo into entrances and visual warmth, I love what you did to your door and your planters! Hope you had a great Christmas and New Years, looking forward to your creativity and humor in '09!

Wow you had a busy year. I love all your projects. I would of been running out to the car to get that desk. I don't like wire hanging all over either. I remember that litter box idea. My dog is a POOH eater too!! Perhaps when we redo the laundry room I can come up with a great idea too.

Hi Brandee,

I just came over to let you know about the coconut snowball recipe - I didn't put food coloring in them. I think they just got a little toasty in the oven. I accidentally set it for 220 F instead of 200, but they still turned out good.

Hope you have a great week! :)

I LOVE your idea for the kitty litter! We have two dogs who also love to eat kitty poo; possibly the grossest thing ever! I am definitely going to try and find something like this to put the cat box in. Thanks for the great idea!
