I'm heading back to school...

Well, I just wanted to let you all know I'm starting school today. I've decided to go back and get my bachelors degree. I've thought about it for years now and decided to just DO IT.

I'm a little nervous. It's been awhile since I've been to school. I won't tell you how long.

I was talking with my husband and kids over dinner and casually asked what I should bring on my first day. My youngest said "scissors". Then I proceeded to ask if I could borrow his crayon box. I also thought it would be fun to find a Holly Hobbie backpack. My kids just looked at me confused and asked "who is that?"

Well, wish me luck. Do you think the other kids will like me?

Good for you! Tell us what your plans are...what are you going to be when you grow up?

Best not to mention Holly Hobby in class. Or Hobby Lobby. Talk about Keira Knightley and Gossip Girl and...I have nothing else for ya.

I am so excited for you...and I don't even know you...you know in "real" life...but I just adore your blog. I went back to school 2 years ago and I am getting ready to graduate this May...with honors! I am so excited. I remember being scared but I instantly loved it and surprisingly, I have never been the oldest one in any of my classes. You go girl! Your family will be cheering you on the whole time!

Just make sure when those geeky kids with the pocket protectors, eating lunch in the back corner, signal you over to sit with them....pretend you don't see em. You don't want to get in with that crowd your first day! OH WAIT....yes you do! They are the ones you want to copy from during the tests! I hope you have a wonderful time...I stand in awe that you have the gumption to go back and finish. GOOD FOR YOU! Just make sure you don't get to smart and then stop hanging out with us.

Hooray for you!!! I AM SO PROUD OF YOU! I have seriously thought about it... but you are doing it!!!!
Just this past semester my niece(the one who got married in Dec) signed her mom up for four internet classes! Well since my sister didn't know much about the computer, guess who helped her:-)
I really enjoyed the pych classes and learned so much. When it came to the tests. It was her who had to do the studying and then she told me the anwsers to insert. LOL I swear sometimes we were laughing os hard, it were as if we were Lucy and Ethel again!
I was concerned about the ethics part and the principal at the school where she works said it was called cooperative learning and that we were legit.
Good Luck Brandee!!!

Have fun,

I was late returning to school too! You'll do great! You have a BIG advantage onver the younger ones... their minds are not on school right now. You can easily out fox them and be graduate very high in class.

Way to go! I have been going to school for the past year and have loved it.It is so fun to learn new stuff, right now I am in College Algebra and I am actually liking math. The class I ran from for years.
I also wanted to say that you have the same living room furniture as me and you have the same drapes in your office that I have. I hope that doesn't sound stalkerish! I just think it is fun!
