Topiary Project...

I was lurking around Miss Kitty's blog and found a simple but cute topiary that she made with items she already had. Since I'm on a holiday accessory diet, I thought I could tackle this project without spending a dime AND add some Fall to my outdoor eating area. (we have to add Fall colors here in the desert, they don't come naturally)

So I grabbed a pot from my pot stash and added a saucer.

I wrapped this old swag around the saucer.

And added a fall wreath/swag (whatever you call these things).

I didn't have a pumpkin...which is what I really wanted.
But I did have this iron pumpkin and candle.

And viola! A little more Fall to the Fall-less scenery.

You're amazing. Did I ever tell you that?...

So sometime, how about showing us how you store and organize all you goodies and doo dads so you can have these wonderful castoffs at your fingertips to create these effortless warm spots. As I watched your project unfold, I thought, when Brandee takes these pictures, how does she know it will turn out?

Well, whatever, you are talented. I was thinking of you this week. I'm so glad I can get on your blog for a breath of Brandee air!

I am TOTALLY stealing this idea. If only in my head. School this semester is leaving no time for fun fluffy stuff.

Will you be at the AZ bloggers luncheon.

It looks great!

I know what you mean about having to DIY fall where you live. There is not one orange leaf around here.

Oh Brandee!
I absolutely love it. How creative and fun is this? I am going to give it a try in a couple of places around the pool for Fall color and maybe even for Christmas. I will keep you posted on the turnout.

I so look forward to meeting you at the AZ Blogger luncheon on Friday. See ya there.

Country hugs, Sherry
