I have a confession to make.
It's not even Fall here in AZ. In fact, it's about 107 degrees out.
If my neighbors knew I was decorating for Fall they would laugh and tell their friends.

I've had this bird house scarecrow for about 7 years now. He has fallen apart many times and I just keep gluing him back together. He's so happy. I think he loves me.
A dear friend gave me this scarecrow. She chose him because he has a red jacket and green pants. My favorite colors. I just love his little checkered shirt.
This little guy just sits around all day...on the hay.
My mother-in-law bought me (us) both of these fiber optic scare-a-crows. I have them on timers. They go on in the morning when my kids get up for school and in the evenings. I do the same for Christmas tree lights. 
Right around October 1st I'll get out my ghoulish creatures for Halloween. For now I'm just enjoying my Fall decorations.

I love the scarecrow...I have just gotten into birdhouses and have put them all up outside in the back yard.
Yep it is pretty hot in the deep south also...I am so wanting it to cool down...Will it ever?

I LOVE your scarecrows.....I have been on the hunt but haven't found any I think are cutsey enough yet....yours are ADORABLE!! I KNOW the birdhouse scarecrow is happy at your home and yes, you can see the scarecrow LOVE!! I adore the fiber optic ones...I don't think I have ever seen any or paid attention but we do everything on timers at Christmas and I think I will HAVE to find a couple of those to do NOW!!!
I know what you mean about decorating for fall right now. Today, it was in the upper 90's and I just can't do it yet. When we get in the 80's, I might.

Love ALL your scarecrows! Especially the one your friend gave you. Are those little chenille pants?! Love me some chenille. I usually don't bring my decorations out this early but I'm definitely getting the itch. The weather here is starting to feel like fall:) Oh, and good luck with the mother in law! I feel your pain!

They are darling! Too cute to be SCARY. Your friends just might be surprised to come in and find everything so cozy and fallish. It sure makes a home feel inviting though...
It almost makes me want to wish the beautiful summer weather away here, but not quite yet! It can linger as long as it wants to.

We're not feeling the fall weather in California either. It's been hot and humid. We'll be in AZ this weekend to enjoy some of your fall weather. I found one of those wicker pumpkins at Marshalls this weekend too. I need you to come to my house and make a pretty bow for it though. I just can't do bows! Love your scarecrows!
Oh, your decorations are so cute, I am ashamed to say that I have not started to put mine out yet, but soon. When I get back from Seattle I'll have to put some thought into it and post.

I can totally relate to the temperature interferring with my FALL! :o) It's hot here as well. I don't dare decorate outside for fear of being the laughing stock of the neighborhood. lol I'm waiting until October. Your decor is so pretty! I love your scarecrow. :o)

It's hot here too - kind of hard to get into the roasting marshmallows around a fire mood but I'm trying.

At our old house, we were right by an elementary school, so I would program our outdoor Halloween and Christmas lights to go on in the morning and the evening, too.
We have never even put outdoor lights on this house, we sit so way back from the street. It's sad really since my husband is an electrician...I am going to get on him to get going on this this year, I hope he complies ;)
