Whew, that's a lot to cover in one blog post so I'll keep is short & sweet.

Dining Room Tour.....
Remember my new dining room table that I purchased off of Craig's List?
Well, I've been busy decorating it.
I purchased these wicker chargers at Walmart.
The glasses are from a yard sale.

I made these napkins out of fabric that I loved.
And placed an already made napkin under it.
And placed an already made napkin under it.
Don't ask me why I needed to double up on napkins...I have this weird decorating sickness.
I found these sparkly napkin rings at Bed Bath & Beyond.
I also changed out my side table for this dresser. It may be weird to have a dresser in the dining room but it works.
I have room to keep my holiday plates, napkins, etc.
I also got out a my pumpkin that I made last year.
This is a wise man from Japan that my mother in law gave me.
He doesn't say much, but he looks wise...huh?
Play date.....
I had the honor of babysitting my niece a few weeks ago.
She is so sweet!!
My youngest couldn't keep his hands off of her.
Or in this case...his head.
New Do....
Last but certainly not least...I couldn't take my hair anymore in this 113 degree weather.

It takes about 5 minutes to do.
And that gives me an extra 20 minutes to type a blog post.

Hi Brandee,
I think that dresser is a great idea for housing all your different dishes. Your table looks GORGEOUS!!
Your niece looks like a little doll...how precious.
LOVE your new do!!!! Again, I am soooooo GLAD you are back!!!!!♥
Hello stranger.
Love the new "do" and your little niece is so darn cute (so is the little guy hanging out with her).
I also have a dresser in my dining room to hold linen, some table decorations etc: It belonged to my hubby's granddad.
I LOVE THE HAIR! And I love the dining room table and how it feels to have all that what you call decorating and what I call nesting and beautifying done. I just skimmed an article in a mag from a interior designer who talked about layered decorating. I like the term. In her words layered decorating doesn't happen all at once, you have to do a little at a time and follow your heart. Like what you do.
Good Morning Miz Brandee,
Your dresser is perfect! Looks great in your dining room and I bet you love all the extra storage too *smiles*
What a cutie pie baby! Your niece is precious!
And I love your new stylin' do! Looks great!!! Welcome back ~ you've been missed!
Cute do! Love the dresser as a buffet! So glad you are back.
Well, as usual, your home looks b.e.a.utiful:) Your neice is a doll--the look on her face with your son in that last picture is priceless! AND love the new do! So purdy:)
I love the decor and the new do even more!
Welcome back to blogland! I've been having trouble finding the time to blog and look at blogs as well. Your dining area looks great!
LOVE the new haircut! If I hadn't stopped by the blog I'd probably never have seen it. We must get together...so many things have transpired over the summer....
Love it! Love it! Love it!
I got out my pumpkin too but it doesn't have the pretty trim on it. I'm going to find something this year to attach to it.
AND I LOVE Your hair! Very cute!

Your dining room is so beautiful, Brandee! I love those holders you got at BB&B and the dresser, too. My dh insisted on a china cabinet and it's such a waste of space. Drawers are way more useful.
Your son and nice are adorable! And so is Lester Holt ;)
I LOVE your hair! I soooo need a new do!!!
lol, your son and NIECE! Although I am sure she is very nice, too :) :) Sooo sweet, both of them, great pics!
Brandee, I love your hair!!! I am all about keeping it easy, so I can understand just what you are saying.
Your house always looks so nice. I like how you did your tablescape.
Darling niece you have there!!
Your decorations look great! I use a dresser in the dining room, too. It's great for storing all my linens and silverware.
Cute kids, cute hair!
Glad to see you back around.
Did you have a paper due on healthcare reform??? Nice research!
I cannot WAIT until my kids are big enough, out of diapers, and can sit at the table like big people! I look forward to decorating, using placemats, and nice napkins. :) Your set-up looks gorgeous, and lots of people use unique dressers in the way of dining room decor...it's a nice addition. Young Kids being sweet with younger kids is what life is about. Your son is handsome, and she's adorable. Enjoy your weekend! Happy Friday.
Your table looks beautiful!!
I think a dresser is a very functional and pretty sideboard for a dining room. I was considering putting one in my d.r.
Girl, your hair looks great!
