Do you change out your decorations for seasons? According to Chris at Just a Girl I have DADD (decorators attention deficit disorder). Well she didn't say that I personally had DADD but I know she was talking about me.
Anyway, I change out decor for Fall, Halloween, Christmas, Valentines, St. Patrick's Day, Easter and Summer. Any good reason to change decorations really.
Here is my summer decor:
Lots of seashells and beach pictures.
Birds. These little cuties hang out with me while I do dishes?
This area in the guest bathroom gets changed out a lot. A scarecrow goes here in the Fall and reindeer for Christmas.
Sea Grass. The only thing I could afford at Pottery Barn was this bundle of sea grass.
Fish. What is summer without fish. This corner of the table gets changed out for each season.
These fish get to hang out year round.
These vacation pictures are those theme park rides. You know, the pic's with your mouth wide open.
This picture is my favorite. My son will never forgive me.
More vacation photos.
So the real reason for showing you vacation photos is this: I change out the photo's for the seasons. Is that weird? Costco makes it so easy to order prints. I have my favorite Fall, Christmas & Easter pictures made into 5x7's and then keep them in the frame to change out each season.
Have a great weekend!

Nice idea ! clever!
I ABSOLUTELY change my decor every season (with several tweaks in between each season)!! You cannot even walk through my storage room right now because I have not yet gotten around to completely putting away all of the Spring decor yet. Maybe when I get out the fall stuff! :) I had not heard of DADD! Love it; have it; proud of it!!!
Brandee,
Your home looks beautiful. You have great decorating skills....can you come decorate for me?? Anyway, some people can look at something and know it would look cute or go with their stuff....me, I struggle, look through decorating books, copy things I am seeing in blogland, etc.
I do change some things out for summer, fall and Christmas (mainly fall and Christmas).
Love the roller coaster ride picture...that had me lol!!!!!
I also change out decorations seasonally. I never would have thought about keeping photos in the frames. That one's going into the memory-hope it doesn't escape!!

Brandee,
Yes we could sit out on my porch swing and have coffee in the morning and then Peach tea while we are swimming in the pool. Sounds lovely doesn't it????
Anyway, I am guessing that all the pictures are of your house and they were not before. Am I right?
I'll say it again...your decorating and home is just LOVELY.
Oh and duh the background paper is now different isn't it? Now summery green with leaves.
Hi Brandee :)
I think it's a great idea. I wish I was more oragnized, so I could do that too :)

I DEFINATELY change out my decor for the seasons. It is so fun! I have some picture frames that I change out and usually just leave the picture in the frame behind the new one. So whenever I change them, the seasonal pic is already in the frame. Does that make sense? Cute decor!!
I love your decorating style! And I change out some things seasonally. I'm a huge decorator for fall and Christmas more so than spring and I have a patriotic area that stays up all year.
DADD, cute! I love it!
Hey..Ceekay from AZ here. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Good to hear from you. Do you know that on your favs...A Hint of Home...Ro is my Best Friend for 34 years! Anyways...your home is lovely...I am in Buckeye. West sider here! You mentioned Hobby Lobby, but do you love Kirkland?
Still looking to see about that clock you love. It's gotta be someplace!
I definitely change decor for Fall and Christmas. Then I get rid of all holiday decor after New Years. By then I'm ready for a break. Then I just do a little bit for the rest of the year. I just can't seem to keep up with it, but I love it when others change decorations all year long.
The Legoland picture is great. We talked my daughter into going on Splash Mountain at Disneyland last year. I told her "Oh, you won't get wet". I'd never been on the ride either. We both got SOAKED from head to foot. It was great though!

I don't have anything to change out LOL. My poor walls are so darn empty. I do have a few knick knacks on tables and such, but my poor walls...just plain and white. I love all your photos and decorations.
I think its nice how you change things up... I do it too! It's makes the house seem so fresh and new.... I am one of those that takes down the Christmas tree the day after christmas... Im ready to move on... Crazy ole'me... Susie h~
One of the woman I play bunco with has what she calls "Season Spots" which are little nooks and crannies in her home that get paid attention to every season. For example, her front door she considers a season spot because the wreath changes with each season.
I change my decor about 4 or 5 times a year. It's always a pleasant change and something different to look at. I do the outside of the house, also.
Hi Brandee,
I tagged you...vistit my latest post when you can.
Diane
Wow!...you must be really organized!..and it all looks great!...I hope to do it someday...I'm gonna need more stuff!
I too summer from this seasonal sickness. :)
I'm TOTALLY with you on this!
If I don't change my decor ... life gets boring!
Dishes, plants, decorative things ... they've all got to rotate!
I am so glad I can put a name to my issue ... DADD! Thanks!
